Greek Week 2012 wrapped up on Saturday afternoon with the annoucement of winners...but before we get to that, let's recap Thursday and Friday's events.
Thursday's theme was Scholarship!
Teams of 4 members from each organization competed in a QuizBowl event with questions about UE Greek Life organizations, and UE in general. There were also a couple bonus questions about USI greek life. QuizBowl was hosted by IGC Representatives Dillon Powers and Kellsey Dempsey.
In the end our top teams were:
Men's Division
1st- SAE
2nd- FIJI
3rd- SigEp
Women's Division
1st- Phi Mu
2nd- ZTA
3rd- DOZ
On Friday our theme was Community Service and Philanthropy!
Individual members of every organization were eligible to sign up for a one hour spot to volunteer at several agencies around town. We had volunteers at the American Red Cross, Holly's House, Potter's Wheel Ministries, the Human Society, and the AIDS Resource Group. Organizations were also eligible to coordinate their own events and receive credit if they provided documentation to the IGC co-chairs. In total 288 students volunteered on Friday!
Friday was also the end of the Greek God and Goddess competition. God and Goddesses collected $1041. 59 for the American Red Cross Heroes Campaign. More the half of which ($525.97) was collected by Greek Goddess 2012 Annie Vincelett from Zeta Tau Alpha! Our congratulations also go out to Kyle Gesell of Sigma Phi Epsilon who collected $162.60 to earn the Greek God 2012 award.

1st Place- Sigma Phi Epsilon
2nd Place- Sigma Alpha Epsilon
3rd Place- Tau Kappa Epsilon
Women's Division
1st Place- Zeta Tau Alpha
2nd Place- Chi Omega
3rd Place- Phi Mu
